The Ivy Lane Styles That You Need To Get Through Chrismas!
With the latest Ivy Lane drop (my favourite one yet, just saying!) we're in full on Christmas mode. From Christmas Shopping, to Christmas Day, to Christmas occasions, we've made sure that there's a style in here for anybody as well as for any occasion. Whether you're on the hunt for head turning sequins or a classic day dress, one thing's for sure: We've got you covered!
Whether it's for a Christmas shopping trip, the Christmas markets, or a little weekend away before the Christmas break, you can absolutely never go wrong with jeans and a top! We've been loving this statement paisley print top and know that you will all love it just as much! The looser fit of this one is always flattering on the body, especially with a pair of skinny jeans to contrast this and still give you the option to flaunt those curves! The puff sleeves are a great way to create volume on the shoulders and top of the body for a slimming effect on the arms. The fact that the sleeves are a 1/2 length also makes it the perfect transitional piece that can be worn well into the spring/summer months.
Christmas Eve is one of my favourite days of the year and whether you're visiting family or doing a bit of last minute shopping (We've all been there!) it's always a lovely excuse to get dressed up and a simple day dress with tights and boots it always a great option here! The elasticated waistline pulls in the waist while still making for maximum comfort, while the frill at the bottom adds a sweet, feminine feel and brings some volume to the bottom of the dress for a slimming effect on the legs.
I already know that whatever I'm doing this Christmas, I'm going to need this dress in my wardrobe! The satin slip dress is always super flattering as the lightweight material means that it follows the shape of the body in a really natural way and highlights your curves without over emphasizing them. The lower neckline of this one also has an elongating effect on the body while the ever so slight flare at the bottom finishes it off perfectly by adding that little bit of volume for a slimming effect throughout the body. While I'm planning on pairing this one with a chunky knit and boots for Christmas Day (Shout out to GTT's Angeline for the styling inspo!) it would also look fab paired with your favourite heels for a more chic look at that Christmas wedding!
New Years Eve plans? Fear not girl, we've got you covered! Sequins never seem to go out of style and this year they seem to be brighter than ever, take this silver one for example! While in the past few years we've seen loads of simple. bodycon sequin dresses we've loved seeing a more on-trend twist to a Christmas style staple this year! This style isn't as fitted and has a more flattering, oversized look, while the tied waist pulls in the waistline to add definition to the silhouette. I also love the puff sleeves of this one for a really flattering, slimming effect on the arm.
If you've got an occasion coming up this Christmas, this red midi dress would be a surefire way to turn heads! Foil print is a major trend this year and we're loving it at the perfect way of adding a bit of glitz to your outfit, without being too much of a statement or seeming as if you're trying too hard! The wrap dress is always super flattering as it lifts the bust while elongating the torso, while the puff sleeves add volume to the shoulders and the frill hem adds a bit of volume to the bottom of the body to balance this out in a really lovely way that is also slimming on the legs!
