Layering is one of the most important parts of Winter fashion, yet really takes a back seat when spring hits. And if there's anything we've learned in the past week, it's that we're not ready to get rid of our layers. So how can we recreate these layered looks without our dark, heavy winter essentials?
We're big fans of a knit vest, this really is such a versatile style that can be worn layered over a long sleeve top in the colder months, over a dress to add a more relaxed feel, or worn on it's own with jeans as we're coming into the summer months. Don't miss out on this one, as we can see it becoming an essential for layering in the next few months!
Looking to get a head start on wearing your spring/summer dresses? We always love a cami dress layered over a turtleneck or long sleeve top. This ensures that you'll get plenty of wear out of these styles in the spring summer months, making it the perfect option for day to day wear!
Lightweight, pastel cardigans are often overlooked and we're firmly putting an end to this this year! These styles are ideal for adding a little bit of comfort or warmth while being a welcome change from the heavier winter styles that we're so used to. I also love wearing these cropped cardigans on their own with jeans over the summer for a more casual look, making this layering essential a super versatile style.
Those knit jumpers that you lived in over the winter? We still love an off the shoulder knit jumper layered over a lacy cami top! The lace straps of these styles often add a relaxed summery feel and bring a super feminine touch to such a casual style!
We've never made a secret of the fact that we're major lovers of a good co-ord, in particular for summer occasions. However, when it's too cold to wear these styles in Spring, you can always layer a good old satin cami top underneath it! (Cami tops are one of our favourite spring/summer layers just in case you couldn't tell!) This will automatically add a little bit more comfort to your outfit without taking away from the classy feel of it!
