Catching up with the girls over brunch is very quickly becoming our new favourite pastime! If we could spend every weekend sipping mimosas and eating our weight in pancakes believe me, we would! Plus, we’ll take any excuse to get dressed up in that dress that we’ve been waiting to wear, right? But we know, it can be so hard to get a brunch outfit that looks cute, as well as being comfortable enough for that oncoming food coma!
We’re big believers that you can never go wrong with a day dress! This is truly the most versatile style they can be dressed down with a denim jacket and trainers or can be dressed up with heels if you’re feeling ~Fancy~
We’re loving this one from Ivy Lane, with a tie at the waistline to pull in the waist, and a frill at the bottom of the dress for a sweet, feminine touch to such a simple dress!
Name a more iconic duo than jeans and a nice top! This is one of our weekend wardrobe staple, and for good reason: it just always works! This is another super versatile style that is really easy to dress up. You can pair with blue jeans for a casual laid back look or with black for an edgier look! We love this pretty pink and purple floral one, with those flattering puff sleeves, a sweetheart neckline to create the illusion of curves, and that peplum style to pull in the waist and drape over the stomach in a really natural way!
A brunch outfit is the perfect excuse to experiment with bright colours and bold prints to keep your look fun and playful, this pretty mini dress from Girl in Mind is the perfect example! The smock style is always really slimming as it drapes over any lumps and bumps instead of clining to the body, just add a belt if you want to add a bit more shape or structure! But our favourite thing has to be that summery print with the mint and blush colours that add such a pretty, feminine touch!
The skort seems to have been the trend of the summer, and we’re loving it! This lilac one has to be one of our current favourites! The skort gives us the same cute, girly vibes as the tennis skirts that we’ve been seeing all over Instagram this summer, but with the added shorts we have a bit more comfort and support!
If you’re off to brunch with your girls to discuss how you all went a bit to hard the night before, we’ve all been there girl, you’re going to need something comfortable! An oversized sweatshirt is our go-to in this case! This style can be paired so easily with cycle shorts and jeans for a relaxed look, just add your favourite accessories for a laid back vibe to pull this while look together perfectly!
