We know how difficult it can be to find the right shapewear, something that looks good, is affordable and most of all something comfortable! This is why when the Ysabel Mora brand entered our warehouse a few months ago we felt like we had hit the jackpot. This brand really goes back to basics with everything from undergarments, to simple leggings and t-shirts to the prettiest satin cami tops. First or all, let me tell you exactly what the brand stands for.

Ysabel Mora was founded in 1988 and their goal is to design collections to fit and body and life shape. They believe that life is lived much better when we feel as good as we are, and when we don’t have to deal with the pressure of a “perfect” body or life (as if there is such a thing!). They help us do this with high quality clothing with amazing attention to detail, as well as with materials that adapt to any body or lifestyle, from natural cotton to bamboo fibres!

I feel like I’ve spent my life looking for the perfect pair of leggings, and I really think that these ones might just be it! The push up effect of these leggings is always so flattering and defines the shape in such a natural way. Due to the slimming fit and super comfortable feel I can already see these leggings becoming an essential part of my weekend wardrobe. And the best thing is that they’re totally squat proof!

I’ve always believed that a simple plain t-shirt never gets the credit that it deserves, and this one from Ysabel Mora might just me one of my new favourites! It’s so soft and comfortable while still being fitted in a way that would emphasise your curves and would look amazing on its own with a pair of jeans for a laid back look, or layered under an open shirt to really add definition to the body.

This high waisted underwear is an absolute must when it comes to shapewear and is perfect to add a little bit of definition if a really subtle way. It features a silicone band to stop it from slipping, is there anything worse than trying to secretly pull your shapewear back into place throughout the day? They’re also reinforced with a central panel to pull in the stomach, and provide control and support to the upper and lower abdomen and back as well as the waist to help pull in the waistling and create that hourglass look.

A simple vest top is another piece that is really essential to adding definition to the body and highlighting the curves. The low neckline of this one elongates the body while the seamless ending creates a streamlined look without the tell tale bumps underneath lumps of material. It’s also made with 92% polyamide material which is durable and abrasion resistant, making this wardrobe staple last you for years to come!

Not only do they supply us with the much needed basics, but also with feminine pieces like this satin cami top and high waisted shorts set. The airy, lightweight material of this set makes for maximum comfort and skims over the stomach and midsection in a subtle, flattering way. I also love the late detail in this one to add a more feminine feel!
